"ELEKTROMAG" MAGNETIC FILTERS also protect and enhance the life of pipelines and processing equipment and assure purity of the end product by removing fine particles such as scale, oxides and fine iron contaminations."ELEKTROMAG" offers both PERMANENT MAGNETIC and ELECTROMAGNETIC FERRO FILTERS and some of the more widely used types are illustrated below:
PERMANENT MAGNETIC FERROUS TRAPS are suitable for installation in pipelines. The magnetic tubes within the trap device catch the tramp and fine iron contamination in the product as it flows through the processing line thereby protecting product purity and preventing abrasive wear. The use of this ferrous trap in the pipeline also offers other benefits such as preventing pumps from jamming, reduce damage and maintenance to mixers, refiners, filters, pumps and other processing equipment. The special design enables quick release of the magnet tubes for easy inspection and cleaning.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FERRO-FILTERS are suitable for Bowl feed or Pipeline feed. These can be supplied for any capacity and can also be designed to withstand high pressures for which they are hydraulically tested. The special design of the filter matrix caused the magnetic flux to concentrate on the fine edges of the magnetic grids. The magnetic pull resulting therefrom is sufficient to overcome the viscous drag of the flowing liquid. Cleaning of the filter elements can be quickly and easily accomplished in a few seconds.Electromagnetic Ferro Filters for Dry application are also available.
PERMANENT MAGNETIC FUNNEL TYPE FILTERS
Permanent Magnetic Funnel type filters are available with single, dual and multiple magnetic elements for higher capacities. The magnetic assemblies are so designed that the majority of trapped particles do not interfere with the line of flow.
The rate of flow is therefore not reduced. The magnetic assemblies in these filters are very easily removed and cleaned.
PRONG TYPE MAGNETIC SEPARATORS
Prong type magnetic Separators are widely used for immersion in the path of liquids and slurries flowing in channels etc.
The magnetic flux from the uniformly distributed rows of Prongs combs the entire width of the channel and iron particles
are attracted and retained on the prong surface.
Both Permanent Magnetic and Electro Magnetic Prong type Separators are available.
