ELEKTROMAG Permanent Magnetic Chutes have been
specially designed to give extremely efficient separation in
the above applications. A special feature of this type of
magnetic separator is that the magnetic impurities actually
come into direct contact with the raw edges of the magnetic
poles.
The Chute Type Separators are of all-metal construction with
non-ferrous metal sides.
The capacity depends on several factors such as chute width,
flow rate and material characteristics. The efficiency of
separation depends upon the number of magnetic poles.
Chute type separators are available in standard width, of
200 mm 300 mm and 400 mm and 4 pole units are generally
used. Wider units for higher capacities and a larger number
of poles for higher efficiencies can also be offered.
Standard stationary chutes are supplied without hoppers or
with hoppers as required. Where material does not flow easily
on the chute, mechanical agitation by means of vibrating
action can be provided. Where precise steplessly-controlled
feed is required, the chute can be provided with electromagnetic vibrating feeders.
Totally enclosed dust proof designs are also available.
Chutes can also be provided with totally enclosed patterns
and flanged inlet and outlet for connection to trunking.
Other designs to suit customers specifications can also be
offered.
