HOW IT WORKS


The Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control is a very simple yet effective device. Every "action" on the Transmitter (via the joysticks or the switches) is converted into series of coded impulses. Each "action" has a unique code.

These signals are transmitted via a digitised frequency Modulated signal to the Receiver.

All signals are transmitted together with the specific address of the Transmitter.

The Receiver decoded this signal, emulates only the commands addressed to it and "extracts" the required "action-information".

The Receiver then converts the serial information to a parallel output and activates the respective Relays.



SPECIAL FEATURES


The brains of the Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control is a highly reliable Gate-Array chip. Each system has a matched set of these special chips so NO malfunction can occur. To further reduce any chances of malfunction or crosstalk each Radio Remote Control system has a unique 16 bit address.

The Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control is capable of using the same frequency for multiple applications without any fear of interference.

The Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control is very versatile. It can be used in any configuration from simple cranes to other complex applications that can require the user to control up to 4 drives with up to 6 speeds for each direction in addition to push buttons for horns, lights and other special functions. It even has a "HOT" button for the emergency switch.

The Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control has multiple levels of security so that there is NO chance of malfunction. Each transmission has it's pulse spacing, pulse length, number of pulses and length of synchronous pulses checked.

The Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control has TWO independent address-comparators so all errors are eliminated. An error in one comparator will NOT affect the other.

The receiver is equipped with a large bank of LED's that indicate the exact status of every operation and act as an integrated function indication system when servicing is required.

The coded transmission impulses have a high degree of redundancy. The minimum hamming distance for the commands is set as d=6 (cyclic), and the addresses have two independent codings. A minimum hamming distance d=6 (cyclic) AND d=2 (additionally by a special code).

The Receiver and Transmitter each consist of only one PCB. This makes the Elektromag-Theimeg Radio Remote Control very easy to service. It also eliminates problems that could occur due to interconnecting wires, connectors etc.
