The prime feature of the ELEKTROMAG/EAB Metal detector is that it will detect objects made of any electrically conductive metal. It's operations is not based on magnetism, so it's sensitivity is not dependent on magnetic properties of the object to be detected. It detects non-magnetic steel, aluminium, brass and other conductive metals as easily as magnetic steel.

An Infra Red System consisting of Infra Red Sensors (Transmitter and Receiver)  is installed on the front side of the Detector.When no person is passing through the detector, the detector is disabled.This ensures that the system is immune to external moving metals outside the vicinity of the detector, to avoid any false signal.

ELEKTROMAG/EAB metal detector is easy to install and easy to operate. It will detect any passing metal object of sufficient size. Normally it is adjusted to ignore minor objects such as keys, watches and buckles, as otherwise it would cause too much inconvenience to passengers.

The gate is of robust construction and is attractively finished with laminated surfaces. Green(walk) / Red(stop) indicators on the top front console are incorporated as standard to regulate the flow of passengers. A meter is also provided which deflects upon detection of metal. If the deflection is small and the "stop" indicator lamp does not glow it indicates that the metal is of insignificant size and maybe ignored. A sensitivity control knob is provided which can be adjusted to detect the desired size of object.

1. The gate consist of 3 sections. The top console, left and right vertical (sensor) sides. The electronics is housed in the top console. The front console incorporates Green (walk)/red (stop) indicators, meter, sensitivity control knob and selector switch. A test push button is also provided to test the function of the circuit. The rear console incorporates the 'ON'- 'OFF' switch, socket for power input, alarm, volume control and remote socket.
2. The gate can be easily and safely transported and assembled at site rapidly since it is divided in three parts. The detector sensitivity is excellent because it contains three sensors. One at the top and two on the sides and it is practically independent of the orientation of the metal object. The passengers walking through the gate are therefore thoroughly checked.
